Brief
Overview
Designed the key visual and booklet for a university art centre in Taiwan, covering the main performance, semi-annual programme booklet, and digital performance materials.
Challenge
The main performance differed significantly from the rest of the programme, making it difficult to create a cohesive visual identity that could work across all materials.
Solution
Extracted the core concept of the main performance and translated it into an abstract visual system. This approach unified the pipa concert and supporting programmes under a consistent identity while maintaining flexibility across print and digital formats.
Design Goal
To break away from the traditional image of the pipa and introduce a more futuristic and powerful visual tone

Custom Hand-lettered Chinese Title
Balancing futuristic and classical music concepts, I explored multiple hand-lettering styles to capture the sense of speed.

Layout Design
Inspired by the concept of speed, I integrated diverse imagery throughout the layouts while maintaining visual clarity and breathing space.

Outcome & Reflection
The project was successfully published and distributed at the NTU Center for the Arts and various performance venues. It received positive feedback from both the client and participating artists.
This experience strengthened my ability to develop a concert’s key visual and adapt it into a cohesive visual system, integrating multiple event visuals and diverse content into a semi-annual booklet. It also enhanced my skills in balancing consistency and flexibility, ensuring the design worked seamlessly across both single-event promotions and multi-event publications.
